MacBibTk is a slightly tweaked version of tkbibtex (release 9). I've tested this with Wish 8.0.5 running on MacOS 9.1 and Wish 8.3.3 and Wish 8.3.4 running under Classic on MacOS X. MacBibTk will not work with Tcl/Tk versions less than 8.0.

Installation

I suggest that you drag the macbibtk.tcl file to the Drag & Drop Tclets in your MacTcl/Tk folder and create a standalone. Place the standalone MacBibTk Tclet in the same folder as the MacBibTk.config file. You should edit the MacBibTk.config file. Set the env(BIBPATH). Everything below should be set correctly. You may edit MacBibTk.config file to suit you. I've added some extra non-standard fields for my own use, you can take them out if you don't want them.

• Tclapplescript won't launch your web browser.
• cntl-Click in Journal Title Entry field does not insert journal title
